SP wize its around 310k sp I thinks for Forge Gun operation level 4
They preform very well actually you'll have to practice to learn the charge time so you can still bob in and out of cover with sufficient time to aim but other than that you should be good

It's the same for all the weapons to lvl 4: 348,240. Always use the assault variant so you get more DPS.
