Warbarge strikes or OB's how many people call it are not powerfull enough. Not against infantry they are totally fine in that aspect. But against vehicles they are utterly useless. I cant count how many times ive called a OB in and and the tanker either sits it out with his hardeners going or is capable to get out of it without serious damage. I want it to be like in the old days where a OB on a tank was a death sentence on that vehicle. What i basically want is that each hit from a OB should deal 4000HP damage. Which means 2 hits should usually be enough to kill the tank.
It just feels wrong that a tiny vehicle (compared to a spaceship) can tank the damage it puts out. Seriously it feels like OB's have beeing massively nerfed in terms of damage. Cause the only way to kill a tank with a OB is when you got lucky and some 1 allready worked on it with AV or another tank.
It should be like this:
AV= actual effort to kill a tank
A other tank= 50% chance of killing him
orbital strike=90% chance of killing the tank.
The only exception to this would be if the tank is allready moving but if hes standing still he should not have the chance to just fire his fuel injector and laugh at the squad leader who called the OB in.

I'm surpised that people still call orbitals on tanks, i only do that if haven't friendly scan and a tank is the only thing i see in the map.
Sometime i prefer to drop OB on friendly tanks to see the reaction XD

as a tanker i have to agree.
to many time have i sat still and heard the OB sound and hit my injector to move.
although soemtimes if iam busy shootign the enemy AV and an ob comes down it might kill me as iam already preocupied with wanting to kill AV.
but i still agreee that OB on tank should be 90% chance to kill while its stationary.
someitmes iam more than willing to use an OB on a frekin redline railgun tank. but if it is sitting sitll (yes you railgun tank) ob should kill the tank.

Its the only viable counter against redline railgun tanks. Cause once they get hit by AV or a other railgun tank they just retreat behind a hill and laugh at every 1. And besides its not "i win mechanic" the squad needs to earn it so its not a solo thing.

so make redline vehicles take 75% more damage, warbarge strikes are for infantry, last thing i need is some kid to take away my 300k isk vehicle with "X"

Their initial design was for different strengths of orbitals. The one they started with was the absolute smallest. In EVE the ammunition for it is small, appropriate for frigates and destroyers.
If they expand along EVE's ammo sizes then we have small OB's, down the line we would get medium, large, and XL Orbitals.

Hehheheheheheh I remember back in 1.6 my gunnlogi could active tank through a Warbarge strike. Now that 1.7 is hear suddenly its a problem? I find this funny...true...but really funny

I'm not gonna lie.
If you had an organized squad and needed to drop an Orbital on a tank to destroy it, you were doing it wrong.

I know that "alto" is a typo, because you are using a mobile device. Can you re-phrase?
Along with that, I smell bull$#!t in the highest order. PRO AV weapons alone cost 47k.

I once had an enemy Warbarge Strike called in on a group of blueberries and my LAV. I was quick with the LAV (and on the edge of the strike zone) and backed up and out of danger, but got my back tires stuck on a berm. 5 seconds later, the same guy called in a second strike, just for my LAV.

Also, why are you allowing your weakspot to be exposed so easily? An AFG can't hold it's charge, so it's difficult to near impossible to hit your weakspot unless they are directly behind you or you are standing perfectly still and camping.
