Getting your hopes up, only to have them dashed, is no fun. *glares at 1.7*
That being said, with the final concept artwork shown of the minmatar heavy, and logibro's comment that the gallente heavy looks nice, and the recent info from aeon, I'd say it is very likely. |

I would say its possible. If it doesn't make it in to 1.8, 1.9 would be almost a certainty.
To add the missing commandos means they at the very least have the base heavy models. The only question is do they have the appropriate skins finished, and have they decided on the bonuses.
I would also say that there is a possibility that they are going to hold the heavy suits until they can introduce the matching heavy weaponry in the same patch.

For 1.8 I'd say that its a strong possibility, though a date on 1.8 in unclear.

good. Because I've been waiting for heavy suits since chromosome. The heavy weapons don't really matter that much. We have caldari with the forge, and minmatar with the HMG. Both suck vs infantry, and only forge is decent at vehicles. So, we dont really need anymore mediocre heavy weapons.

They hot-fixed the HMG almost a month ago. Treat it like a Chain Gun and enjoy. 
... you should probably delete your FG fits. 1.7 was not kind.
