Lots of people want to run for CPM1 and I for one am glad to see it because it shows passion but I have seen very few that have made me think "I will vote for them" or that "they are my kind of candidate". To help rectify this problem I have thrown together a list of questions that I think are either fun, important or show the character of the person running for CPM. If you have a question that you feel needs to be addressed there will be another thread for that but this thread (hopefully) if for the mercs whom wish to run.
1. How many hours a week do you have to read the forums, chat on IRC and communicate with other important names? I could see this "job" as running into 40 hours a month or much more, that's over an hour a day just communicating,not playing the game. Could you pull that off?
2 In your opinoin what is the most important thing that needs to be done and if you could choose one thing to be released next what would it be?
3. What item should be removed from the game?
4. Jacus Roden says you stand with me or against me what would you say?
5. What is your perferred style of play and why?
6 Red dot on scan 25m away at the resupply depot around the corner and you have to take it, what do you do?
7. Why did you join/start the corporation you are in?
8. What has been your favorite player event?
9. What have you done for the community that would sway a vote in your way if compared to another candidate?
10. What is your favorite thing about DUST514?
11. What EVE space ship would you use if you were forced to put a sticker of it on your forehead?
12. Do you think that a player trading system that allows corporations or individual mercs to trade anything but AUR would be the best thing for DUST514? Why?

5. Omni. I am every need. (Mostly Heavy, though.)
6. Bank fluxes, charge.
7. I was in a large corporation that crumbled and at the time I didn't know anyone here.
8. Mordu's Challenge for the mass amounts of just blowing **** up.
9. Neutrality.
10. The persistence of development in a F2P market.
11. I don't Eve.
12. Lack of a Dust side P2P market is borderline immersion breaking and necessary for lower level players to go ISK positive if participating in FW.

Not running for CPM, but kinda want to answer the questions.....
1. No....I'm in Highschool and have a $#!+ ton of homework amongst other things
2. Full racial gear. Then racial vehicles.
3. Damage mods or matchmaking (both are absolute turd)
4. Depends, do you like bacon? Jk, with you.
5. Commando....I love the challenge....but I literally can do any role (admittedly some better than others)
6. Start cooking a nade, run around the corner, toss it, and then start firing away.
7. D-Uni cause I wanted to help people.
8. Mordu's challenge....jolly good times

11. Don't play eve.....
12. Not the "BEST" thing for dust, but it certainly would be a huge improvement.

Not playing EVE doesn't disqualify anyone to me. That has absolutely no influence on my decision because some people are leaders and leaders sometimes don't have to know everything or even be good at other things besides leading. CPMs are not necessarily leaders but they are looked upon as figureheads. Personally, I am looking for people who will be hard workers, decent communicators and have the gumption to look into things and use resources.

Same here.
1. I read the forums every single day. I have determined this is a bit of a problem, and I should probably scale back a bit. I don't like IRC.
2. The remaining racial suits and vehicles would be top priority.
3. Basic frames.
4. I'd tell him I exists in a state of quantum superposition regarding the question.
5. I'm a die-hard HMG fattie. Mostly because I like the movie Predator and Jesse Ventura.
6. Throw an M-1 grenade to the right of the depot, charge the left side with HMG blazing. (Works like a charm.)
7. I was in Universal Allies before this. When UA broke up, I joined the corp of my old EVE buddies to catch up with them. I am the only ground pounder in the corp. No corp politics means I can squad with anybody. 
8. Without a doubt, the crashing of the titan on Caldari Prime. I wish CCP would do more epic stuff like this, but I see why it's necessarily rare.
9. Jack ****, beside try to keep a level head about balance. I try to understand the relative power of everything in the game.
10. What it could be. I have faith CCP can eventually get there, it just may take a damn long time...
11. I love my Vargur, named The Tetanus Shot. (I'm Seriously Bored in EVE. I came up with the fit all the carebears use for their Vargurs and Maelstroms.) Bastion mode made Marauders interesting.
12. No. I think that Blueprints should not be tradable between players and corporations, but that literally everything else in the game (including districts and planets) should be.

1. I work 3 days a week, so time is a non issue.
2. electronic warfare.
3. I don't think there are enough items in the game to start removing some.
4. i'd say roden shipyards has a fairly underhanded non-sanctioned type of a business model. I kind of like them.
5. I like to play a support role for my squad, so commando with sr and lr. scanner always. strip the shields and let the assault classes finish up. I try to run and amarr fit amarr suit- just for kicks, not because it's good.
6. shoot their feet out with my sr.
7. we started the sound of freedom to get ready for dust. we played eve for two years to try to figure out what was going to be necessary to play dust.
8. I've not been over involved in any of the events. I thought the titan crash was fun to pack a high-sec system, but why pack a high-sec system? they're busy enough.
9. I teach people how to fly spaceships. I run eve support for my corporation's pc's. I try to get people ready for low-sec, even if they've been ill-informed previously.
10. it's high-concept.
11. I love the maulus.
12. I think that on a long enough timeline even aur items will be available to be traded on the market. I do believe that market unity is the thing that will balance a lot of parts of this game. everything needs to have a 'real' value, not a ccp theory value. i'm not saying they need to rush into it and make a huge mistake, but I think that's the thing that will make dust more akin to eve. |

The market is the only real connection we'll see between these games for years.
Explain to me again why I need to understand Jove heritage or how to pilot a mining barge effectively to understand the needs of this game, its community, and the interaction between the two?
As previously stated, I have no intent to run, but I'm glad to bump this thread and attempt to clear up that Capsuleer mandate.

3. Basic and Advanced Slot layouts of suits, useless levels skills that do nothing.

2) your thoughts on the tank spam?
3) your thoughts on cloak?
4) your thoughts on star wars. Not the prequels.
5) Me and you are at a super market just getting some snacks for the game. One girl is looking at me, and smiles. but she is with two of her friends. what do you do?

They shouldn't need to to be able to be introduced into the game or care about what is going on. I don't care one bit if some new player has heard of EVE or not. This about being a mercenary and learning about why you fight and what you believe. If you fight for ISK so you can fight more or you fight for Amarr and follow their beliefs doesn't matter to me. I want you to come to New Eden and pull a trigger, provide feedback and have fun.
