For some candidates I see this as shooting themselves in the boot if they show up, or dont show up.

I would rather gimble do it. I have no issue with Pyrex their are better more unbiased players in the dust community

Pyrex's interviews would probably not be necessarily the best source of good information but it would probably be entertaining.
It'd be like a politician going on the Colbert Report as opposed to.. idk... a serious show?

There will most certainly be a qualifier stage to the election done by CCP to weed out the non-serious no-chance candidates. It'll be a lot easier, I'd imagine, to do interviews at stuff after that time.

I'd be down for doing an interview series with candidates, I'm not running for CPM since I'll be busy working on "gladiator" stuff and I tend to give bug/exploit feedback straight to CCP anyway. I'll start setting something up for interviews when I get back home on Monday.
