My half assed examples.
Caldari assaults: +3 to shield recharge rate +5 to shield extension mods
Gal assault: +3 to repair rate 2% cpu/pg reduction to hybrid weapons.
Amarr assault 2% reduction to heat build up for laser weapons. 1% (or 2% ) armor resistance
Mini assault: 3% faster reload times for light, and side arms. 4% reduction to depleted shield recharge delay.

Gal assault: 10% reduction in armor penalties 3% to Armor plates (Few suits should have built in armor rep even if I wish all Gal suits had it)

Or add a bonus from the basic frame skill that is currently useless. Ex tech 2 frigates in eve get 2 bonuses from their skill such as covert ops and a bonus from the frigate skill.

I like useful bonuses , instead of across the board checklist type bonuses .
These are actually pretty good and give something that particular race could use and not something that's overpowering against one particular race .
That is how the bonuses should be . We are all aware who the rivals are and to have a bonus that just goes with that rival leaves one weak against other races . We all fight together but also against one another so the bonuses should be useful and not just rival race based .
I like these ideals . Good work .

You could give the same percentages though like in between 3 - 5% .
2% bonuses are such a waste and go un noticed most of the time .
Future Caldari Heavy so watch out for this Sumo Shinobi with a Caldari HMG .

Could be . You know that they are known for armor tanking and now to give such a high bonus to their strength would make that the FOTG . You wouldn't be able to kill them . Damage mods , two or more for everyone is what you would be facing seeing as now with such a high armor rep , they really wouldn't be worried about their shields not one bit .
Passive rep to go along with have armor repairers would make them indestructible .

I had to adjust that . Seeing a fit with 700 armor sprinting like a scout and carrying an OPed as hell CR is a nightmare that I'm just not willing to bear right now . Too game breaking and in a bad way .

There is no reason to remove the assault class bonus.
Whine all you want, now the heavy and the assault are the main battle suits, not logis.
Scouts will be able to fire from cloak, so that's balanced too.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.
