It seems like CCP is mostly improving Dust 
Not impressed yet but I did have a very possitive experience in yesterdays PC.
As good as no lag whatsoever, just like a normal pub game.
I went 24-5, well against scrubs. But I have played before against slightly better scrubs and gone 4-19 IMO due to terrible framerate.
If this is actually the case now, that PC LAG is wastly improved, then there is hope for the competitive aspect of this game yet.
I'm definately gonna see if there are more fights tonight I can ring in, it was actually great fun as opposed to the dissheartening mess it's been traditionally.
Anyone else had positive experiences in PC the last day or so?

I almost never get LAG. Are you sure this is the game but not your connection and/or console?

I don't believe it.
And yes, I'm possitivebru sure its not about my ps3 or indeed my super fast fibre optics net.

I nearly never experienced a Lag free PC and I know I have a pretty good connection, there are threads floating around testing varius sources for the Lag. So maybe CCP found a solution for most of the lag problems.
I will check with my corpmates if someone ringed yesterday to share their experience... |

I also never experienced the Lag problems, but often could hear other in the match experiencing it on my side. I fought in one PC battle last night and to the best of my knowledge no one had any noticeable lag, and both sides were spamming equipment. |

I don't get LAG either, only when I play against the Japanese.
Otherwise it's just frame rate lag.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

I lag occasionally, but lagged hardly at all out of 3 battles today. There's still the occasional hiccup, but nothing crippling like in the past. Corpmate went 3 PCs in a row without resetting and said there was no lag.
So far, so good it seems. |

I've watched a good friend of mine play PC from right over her shoulder, and she never got lag on her console.
As weird as it is, it honestly seems to differ between players.
But yes, what you're seeing is the result of the hotfix they put in to reduce frame-drop from equipment spam.

Played a PC today and there was quite a big of lag/framerate issues. Whatever you want to call it, it sucked.

I have never lag in game unless my PS3 is lagging due to the tempeter of my home
choose the right regoin then you can fix the laggy flashing
I choose Asia and if I choose anto I will lag too

I hope this is true. PC has been pretty great when I haven't been lagging.

CCP fixed the lag caused by equipment spam, which is why PC (mostly) doesn't lag anymore. |
