Let this thread be a list of things that YOU, I REPEAT, YOU want to (and don't want to) see from CPM candidates and their campaigns.
Here are the things I want to see:
- Links to old threads - show me you have capable ideas that have been received well.
- Give specific examples of how you will improve Dust - none of that "I want to improve the player experience." BS. I want specific examples, ideas and plans.
- Future vision of Dust - Where do you want this game to be.
- Don't make promises - I know you won't keep them and they make you look desperate.
- Appeal to everyone - If you want to buff AV don't throw tankers outside in the rain, make rational arguments that are good for both sides.
- Be creative - cookie cutter candidates won't have my sympathy and definitely won't have my vote.
- Be a man/woman of the people - Mr.Snarky 20 KD "This game is sooooo easy!", will never have a chance. Stay humble and be relatable.
- Don't flip flop - stick to your guns, don't choose your sides based on popularity, support it because you think it's right.
You wanna battle / Aztec's not afraid of you / I could care less about your reputation / Even though it maybe true.

Must be able to effectively troll in order to abide by NDA.
Therefor the only choice for CPM is SoTa Pop

I don't want to see a thread. I want to hear that you're running an immediately know that you're capable based on prior interaction.
A campaign thread will harm your chances of getting my vote.

You hit the nail on the head their DeadlyAztec. Pretty much my thoughts exactly. And if I might add, I want to see the candidate clearly putting time and effort into the campaign. If he or she is unwilling to put time and effort into the campaign, what do we have to believe he or she would put time and effort into the CPM?
