I didn't think the sentinel could get worse, but it actually did. On paper it looks better, but when thrown up against its opponents new buffs it is worse off than it was before.
If every assault and commando suit gained a 10% minimum (more for minmatar assault) increase to DPS, all the sentinel bonus does is reduce that benefit slightly because the sentinel gets a flat bonus 2-3% defensive buff, not an increase per level.
Sentinels are actually worse in the next build than they are in this one, because their opponents buffs have exceeded their own defensive ones. In fact the ONLY benefit of the sentinel now is the ability to more effectively tank through grenade and mass driver spam, to which there has been less and less lately thanks to the continuous buffs made to the rifle's killing potential.
If the Sentinel bonus was per-level, the suit could at least negate the buffs being made to assaults and continue filling the somewhat mediocre role it currently has. |

Doesn't work that way in EVE. I don't see any reason why I should believe it will work that way here when it's the same devs writing the descriptions, and there is a clear difference in the written text. |

Well I think it's safe to say it's per level. Instead of showing you proof about how it's not pet level show me proof of a skill in dust that gives you a flat bonus. Stop panicking. |
