ZN-28 Nova Knives DPS
Damage 150.00 ChargeUp 1.00 sec0nd
IshuKone Nova Knives DPS
Damage 200.00 HP/ChargeUp 0.80 seconds

Now I know that more you spec into Novas and
HTH and Minjas skills the damage goes way up, this is the
stats for average damage.

That damage displayed is per uncharged knife so basic knives would do 180 damage if both knives hit without a charge and when you charge the damage is doubled... so with maxed proficiency and the proto minny scout skill and proto knives a charge will be 1428damage if both knives hit, that's 714 damage per charged knife.. my knives hurt when they hit |

so, In theory, could you use proto knives to take down a tank if its shields were down?

Not anymore they don't let me damage vehicles or installations anymore, in chrome I use to blow up cru's with knives and when uprising was first released I did take out 1 tank but they've patched it so you can't damage them. |

Headshots are not so easy to pull off but they can be done but u don't get 60pts you just get to hear the headshot doonnnnggggg sound |

I know, but they are the only reliable way to solo a heavy besides using a rail/combat rifle/plasma rifle.

I'm still hoping CCP continues with the idea of having combat knives for all races, not just Caldari with the nova knives. I wonder how much CCP has spent discussing racial knives, if they ever got an idea for how they wanted to make them different, or if they just thought it would be cool, got someone to do concept art, and then forgot about them.

amarr could get a sword instead of knives or something. Gallente could get like an axe. and minmatar... uhm, a swiss army knife held together with twine and duct tape.
