If you analyze what reduction in dispersion is, theoretically, it should not increase range but make you deadlier at range. If you visualize a wide spray getting wider as it goes out, vs. a steady stream in one line, you should be deadlier at a higher distance than you were before you reduced the spray to a stream. |

But they're still constricted by the effective and absoloute ranges. Meaning we dont have the laser lightshow and Ar snipe at 250m that we used to

It narrows the cone of fire for a weapon.
Imagine a weapon has a cone coming g out of the front of it. Any given rou d will have their trajectory somewhere within that cone. Sharpshooter makes the cone smaller, meaning more rounds are likely to hit the target at a given range. |
