What gun should I use
The Assault Rifle does 425 DPS at 40 meters but the Rail Rifle does 425 DPS at 65 meters.
They both do the exact same thing and have the exact same TTK but the trade off with the Rail Rifle is that I will kill more people and out damage any other gun at a longer range, and be on equal footing with any other gun at close range! It's such a hard choice!

RR, since people are going with Armor stack and GAR get malus on Armor
Once you try "HMG-FAT" you never get back...

I'd say ScR, but the Amarr Assault is getting nerfed, so RR anyway!

The assault rifle is a classic. The RR & CR are new and might get a nerve when 1.8 arrives. I wouldnt spend too many skill points on those two just yet. |

CCP won't because they believe weapons with the same DPS are balanced, even though their ranges are leagues different  |

this is an issue way before the RR. This started with the Assault rifle and it's variants.

I-¦ve been through several changes with the AR since Beta. Good ones and bad ones.. The RR reminds me of the TAC AR before it was nerfed last time.
