So at the end of 2013GÇÖs fanfest Keys Notes for Dust, CCP Pokethulhu showcased a TV spot advertisement they had, where he said:
GÇ£it won't be released soonGÇ¥ GÇ£it will be happening this yearGÇ¥ The advertisement was freaking kool, and it summarized the games GÇ£Vicious CircleGÇ¥ in an impressive and effective visual representation. He also said that:
GÇ£a lot of work went into it, from the marketing team and the development sideGÇ¥
IGÇÖd love to see this on national TV in the UK because it will bring in so many new players to the game who probably don't even know the game exists or that it is a free to play title "that are waiting to be liberated from a prison they dont know they are in yetGÇ¥ I get that releasing the game to the wider market could be problematic, considering the new player experience is pretty brutal. Was it only released for Icelandic broadcasts, was it scrapped or will it still be released when all the racial assets are released?
If you haven't yet checked out the advertisement, here is the link for it. (Its at time index 1 hour, 11 minutes and 30 seconds if my timestamp link didnt work)

At FanFest they said it'd be airing around the holiday season. Obviously at FanFest they thought the game would be in better shape now than it is. I'm sure they still have the spot advertisement and are still planning on using it, they're just waiting for the game to improve before they do. No point in bringing in a lot of players if you don't believe your game has enough player retention at the moment.

I remember seeing that video as a Youtube advert at some point at least, not really sure if it ever really came to exist as an actual TV advert.
But yeah, it would be nice if we could know what happened to it, I really liked it.
