Eko we haven't met. But we should have a chat the next time we are both online. Have you registered at our site yet? I don't remember seeing your app come through. Anyway REs are also your friend. And LAVs for solo play. Look at my channel for some older videos named demo Logi. They are from early last year, but all of them are solo min Logi work.

Hey Ratmaq, I do IT for a living and IT Security in particular. So the 30d website is blocked. I work alot and when I am not at work I avoid getting on a computer unless I have to. Although, getting on here a few minutes here and there makes me look like a slacker I assure that I am not LOL. That being said. I'll sign up this weekend and check everything out. I'll look for you online as well. I play using the PS3. |

The whole point of a squad is to have fun together, if your running solo then expect to have your fun ruined by those that are more sociable unless you are alldin.
So, I get your point but I always have fun being solo. I don't go solo because I am anti-social. I go solo because it is just quick and easy. I am going to start dabbling into squads during the weekends now that my schedule is better but the point is that I am looking for solo-ish strategies. If you have a squad based (or small squad) strategy then share away as well. It won't hurt my game. On another note, does anyone else go to a sniper build specifically to destroy drop uplinks and then change back to a ground forces fit and get back on the front line? I do it, but want to get assurance that i'm not the only one. I have to agree with this, running solo does have its merits. More often than not I spend more time trying t get into a squad rather than actually playing, and with my role as a scout I really have to pay attention to the squad and what they are doing and what I'm supposed to do. When I'm running solo I can just go queue up a match and play without having to worry about my squad and generally blow off steam and make a quick profit.
But on topic, taking advantage of remote explosives is the biggest amount of fun I can have, even in redline matches. You can stick them behind tanks and laugh as they blow into oblivion, charge right into a group of red dots and thrlwing remotes everywhere and blowing yourself up for a ton of points, or luring unsuspecting enemies around corners only to blow them up, for instance.
There's a lot of possibilities for remote explosives, and you should definitely try them if you haven't already.

First thing i want to say is yes yes yes yes.Uplinks in startegic places near(not next)to objectives will get you a **** load of wp and if your in a real bad stomp most likely as soon as people start spawning them and your uplinks will be discovered, so make sure to camp near them to provide protection for your uplinks and give cover fire to your blues. Then once things get too heavy and your under fire retreat to the redline(or any safe supply depot) restock your uplinks and find a new stop to start all over again.learning how to fly a dropship helps but if your seen you'll droping uplinks in a stomp the enemy will be sure too follow.Just remember to keep distance from your team hack/kill what you can and set uplinks in a safe spot.

I am going to start spec'ing into RE's soon. I have a few things to finish up for my other fits (dampening, etc.) and then going to explore scouting and uplink stuff and RE's. Need another 10 mil SP. Sigh. Guess I gotta just grind it out.
I really like the idea of just running into the fray kamikaze style with RE's, i'm gonna do this 100%. I've done it with locus grenades with little success but RE's have to be a bit more effective due to damage. |

One more thing if you run solo and your good at it, be sure to make a one person squad.I can't tell you how many times i missed solo orbitals just because i forgot to make a squad for my self.

Learn to fly a dropship, place uplinks where they can't be easily destroyed. You can place more than one uplink down if you use different types.
