I was thinking of ways to mitigate the long RDV queue at the beginning of each game. Here's what I came up with.
Thought of a few options:
1.) LAV's could probably get away with just 'phasing-in', similar to the way they 'phase-out' when you recall them. The spawn-in time for LAV's would take the same amount of time as if they were dropped by RDV. This way, RDV's would only be used to bring in tanks and dropships. This would delay wait times for vehicles in the beginning of the game, and reduce RDV-DS collisions.
2.) LAV's could be shot directly down from the warbarge in a pod of some type. The container would be shot down from the sky much like installations are dropped now. When it hits the ground the container would break apart and disappear, revealing your LAV inside. The container would simply pass through RDV's on it's way down, to avoid weird collision mechanics.
3.) If several vehicles are queued to be deployed to the exact same place, the RDV could be modified to hold two vehicles, as long as one is an LAV. Eg: Tank+LAV, LAV+LAV, DS+LAV. Might even be able to squeeze an LAV on the back of the RDV now by just turning it sideways perhaps.
Let me know if you like any of these ideas, and if so, which one you like best.

i also asked that and no one repplied xD like at this one xD seems that people is okay with waiting 5 minutes to get their vehicle...
maybe another way of the vehicles coming would be if they'd use an inertia dampener like suits do.

Vehicle drop uplink that's only good for the initial area and for X many vehicles.
RDVs still needed to deploy anywhere else or after the uplink pops from usage.

Also an excellent idea! Have a vehicle spawn pad at ground spawn, and MCC. Can use that to call in vehicles, anywhere else an RDV will be used as normal.
