My suggestion is... Gates!
Every compound, military or civilian, has these pieces of cutting edge technology called gates to allow wanted vehicles in and keep unwanted vehicles out.
Say your team controls a socket from the inside out, it is YOURS. There should be hackable 'switches' on doors and openings to the compound as well as a master near one of the capture points to lock down or open up the entire compound.
This would give scouts new life, sneaking in and hacking the gate switch to allowing tanks in. Say give them +10 Wp for each vehicles entry after 10 seconds of opening the gates.
Would also mean that awoxers or griefers could really sabotage a sockets defense.
For a wide opening, a series of bollards could rise up from the ground to prevent entry. Potentially high centering vehicles on them, rendering them useless.
Even trapping HAVs inside a compound, when youve got an AVer or two ready to be a tankbuster.
Gates : the "door" to the future.
I feel like tanks are fairly good right now. Other than the fact they can pretty much go anywhere they please. This function would give infantry a little breathing room if managed properly but still have tanks kick ass, as they should.
For the State!
Keep your stick on the ice and get the pucks in deep, eh.

A regular Tony Stark. Could we even get windows?
Military complexes of the future are somehow lacking in the 'future' part.

Windows are structural weaknesses. (kudos if you get this)
Gates less so, but nice to have. Have the gate/barrier be controlled by a nearby switch not a socket. No WP reward, purpose of gates is to keep vehicles from wreaking havoc. You open a gate for a blaster tank and you just ruined your enemies' day.
Other points are humorous to ponder. |

Every castle and defendable area I've seen has small slits for firing. I didn't mean literal windows. But you know that...
