I got it worse then all of you... 1.7 literally corrupted my old hard drive in my PS3, making everything on it unplayable within a matter of days. Dust was playable, in that I could get in battles, but my weekly KDR dropped over 2 whole numbers due to the massive problems I was having. Crashes happened every hour on the hour, and I had to buy a new HD just to be able to use my ps3.... sorry that you are getting Fatal Errors, but until you have to replace something like I did, consider yourself lucky. |

Yea... Thanks to owning a PS4, I have PS Plus now, so I get the auto-back up feature every morning while I sleep, and when I first turn on my PS3. I also, because of the HD replacement, keep a FAT32 flash drive with a back up of my saves. Glad my problem could remind others to game safely, lol |

Up until I replaced the hard drive, I raged... A lot... In game, walls would load, people would be invisible or have no hitbox on the displayed toon, I would get sub-fps display, and other amazing visual phenomena... I think my trademark "I have no idea what is going on on my screen right now" saying was said every 30 seconds. The part that pissed me off the most was that Dragon Age 2 became unplayable with infinite loading screens and other instabilities that led to freezing or game crashes started to happen the same day after I updated to 1.7... Irony being that the game I was playing to escape Dust had become corrupted by Dust... |
