Does anyone same with me think that Large Missile Launcher are BROKEN weak? 1.It can't kill tanks it's damage is 539.5(proto) and clip size is 12 and fire speed is .15 so it's dps is 971.1 and total damage is 6474, BUT armor tank with a 120mm armor plates have 1200 sheild and 5015 armor, so it is 1714(sheild)+3510(armor)=5224 damage to armor tanks, BUT if that tank have a Armor Hardener or I missed 2 of the missile, I can't kill the tank. SO Large Missile Launcher can't kill tanks.(can't kill sheild tanks too) 2.IT IS EVEN WEAKER THAN SMALL MISSILE LAUNCHER!!! Small Missile deals 539damage(lower) and clip size is smaller too(8).Why large one is weaker than small one?IT IS BECAUSE THE SPLASH Large missile do 195 splash damage at 1.5 blast radius BUT small one have 357.5 splash damage AND 2.5 blast radius.Even child know it is non-sence that large missile is much larger than small one WHY it's splash is weaker and damage deals is close to small one! 3.Compare to Large Blaster Large Blaster can fire 6 secord before over heat = 42 rounds so its deals 5733 damage. but it just need few secord to cool down but missile need more than 10 secord, so missile is weaker than blaster. 4.Reload system is broken If I fire one missile it tank me full time to reload IT IS NON SENCE think about in real life blaster need to put another clip to reload but missile should just put another missile in to reload why putting 1 missile into the turret takes same time for putting 12 missile.It should reload like shotgun 5.It's skill is USELESS Add after server open.
Real tanker would get off their tank untill their tank blow up, although not much people can blow up their tank.

The missile turret when used correctly can destroy an armor tank in split seconds, its the dust equivalent of a derp cannon, outside of that I agree its pretty useless and I wouldn't use one, but some ppl make that turret look godly. |

Large missiles are the BOMB man. Why don't you get that. I can easily drop a maddie with a full clip + a few more missiles. This is coming from a guy that has blown many many tanks up with missiles.
Splash damage is pointless, for one missiles are not meant to kill infantry. That is what a blaster is for. Missiles, are primarily an AV weapon. That being said though, missiles are pin point accurate. So if you do want to shoot infantry, you aim for direct shots, not splash!
The skill is not an increase in fire speed, it is an increase in turret rotation speed. So at max, it provides 50% to how fast your turret turns. VERY IMPORTANT, as you will be able to run circles around an opponent and out track his turning speed.
Agreed though on the reload. It should reload like a shotgun, not a assault rifle.
Though all and all fella, missiles are the ****. They have good range and accuracy(pinpoint accuracy), the damage is AMAZING, and they MURDER tanks.
I have played tanks since may, and tank in PC. My missiles have murdered many maddies, and gunnlogis too.

Someone posted this exact (nearly) same thing yesterday.
I assure you, missiles are not crap.
I kill tanks all the time with em. Try them with a damage mod, very few enemy maddies will survive a full clip. And your reload skill has got to be max.
And when you come against a gunnlogi, out maneuvering him by having a higher turret turn speed is the way to go! Missiles though do like no damage to shields.
I don't know what to tell you fella.
You aren't doing it right.

Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

The Large Missile Launcher can aim higher than the rail gun and are better at defending a zone than the large blaster. I can kill redline rail and blaster turrets with my dropship but I can't get close enough to the missile batteries without taking heavy damage and needing to run away.
If you want to aim straight up then carry a forge gun.

racial purity is a dumb reason to not go for an armor madrugar w/ damage mods and missiles. armor mods don't interfere with your damage mods so you can tank and DPS, it's a win win |

if you fire with missile while you are moving you hit yourself at least when I try that kind of fixxing it hurt so much that any noob AV can kill me

I run missiles all the time except when there's a CQC railgun Gunnlogi on the field; then I bring out my own CQC railgun Gunnlogi. Oh and also I bring out my sniper railgun Gunnlogi when there's multiple railguns on the field.
It's the railgun that's broken, not the missile launcher.

What?
Running a damage mod other than basic on an armor tank means you need to fit a CPU mod, giving up a tanking slot.
Gunloggis can run armor mods in their low slots to give you the missing tank from running damage mods.
XT turret 2x Basic damage mod 1x Complex hardener 1x Complex Armor hardener 1x Complex Armor Repairer
Done and done.
No Madrugar with missiles can be built like that.

Gunnlogi (High slots)
1x Shield hardener 1x Shield booster 1x Damage mod
or
2x Shield hardener 1x Damage mod
or
2x damage mod 1x shield hardener
All solid fits. Remember to use hardeners right before you take damage if you can. And when your hardeners are cooling down, find a safe place to sit while you wait for them to recharge.

What? Running a damage mod other than basic on an armor tank means you need to fit a CPU mod, giving up a tanking slot. I have full armor and shield fitting skills.
Turret fitting is @ 3, damage mod fitting is @ 4 I think.
YOu can play around with the values, swapping out an enhanced hardener for the complex(armor, not shield), or dropping down to an enhanced heavy rep.
But it fits, and kicks peoples teeth in. As long as you understand that even with hardeners up, a prof 5 FG with 2x damage mods can still pop you in one shot with your shields down.

Before 1.7 people called the Vayu ****/joke etc, I could run moine to great effect, raped a nyain san tanker with it then next day saw him not only running his vayu, but running my build. You feels tired if you get perserr of exam and tanks keep rushing out like zombies, in some game I just feel like I am the last human diving my tank to kill robot tanks for suvide and no one helping me and people even can't win the FW when 5 of their people is fighting with me and only 11 people can win 15 people and I only get 75 lp for 3000 WP Not even the ture tanker can stand like this
