Now that vehicle combat has been fixed (more or less...still a bit rough) lets get some more variety involved. What kind of vehicles do you guys want to see in the future?
I'm really interested in seeing some more variety even in the currently filled out roles, for example and LAV with a turret you can fire yourself (camera controls would need some fixing) as well as a smaller/faster transport vehicle with no weapons, like a dirt bike fit for 2 (and can we please allow passengers to fire their guns? Yes even in dropships)
As for the MAV I'd like to see 2 variants with the same basic frame, 1 with only 1 large turret that move's slower but has room for 4 passengers, and 1 with several small turrets with room for maybe more passengers.
The HAV...well while I'd like to see something other than tanks idk what could really fit in this role, besides a mech anyway and I know those are kinda far off.
Light aerial vehicles...jet bike nuff said. Although perhaps something like a hovercraft isnt out of the question, basically a turbine powered VTOL LAV with 1 small turret and room for 2 or 3 people.
I would honestly think that the fighter jet should be more of a medium aerial vehicle whenever that comes out and maybe just have 2 turrets side by side that could be fired simultaneously. Other than that dropships are fine and I can't really think of much else that could fit in this role.
And heavy aerial vehicles....I got the image of floating fortresses in my head, like big ones, I'm talking 4x the size of a tank, this would probably be in an even heavier class and wouldn't exist but it's something I'd really like to see, this hovering block overshadowing an objective, dropping people in and providing heavy air support. OP you say? We'll let's make it so the thing isn't very mobile yet very tanky, make it move about as fast as an assault suit, but able to withstand alot of punishment, why not allow it to have a platform on top for infantry to fire down from? Just a suggestion but I'm sure there's more valid ideas out there.
