I got proto in flaylock, scram pistol but recently started using SMG more often so spec'ing into that. soon i think i'll have more proto sidearms then light weapons.

Can you even imagine it's damage though. The jump from standard breach to TY-5 is big enough. The jump from TY-5 to Imperial (it exists) Breach is pretty nice as well. It's a powerhouse.

I've used most of the pistols, but I mainly stick with the basic ones.
The CAR-9 was pretty sweet, I have to admit. The breach is also nice but the ROF is too slow for me.... The Viziam is beast: I used for the winter carnage event and put it down thereafter.
In all honesty, I feel like I should improve my skills with the militia and standard scramblers for the time being.
I have some SMG skill and I really am partial to the breach for some reason.... it just feels nice to put bigger slugs into folks.  As I recall I used this when I was trying out the breach AR.... upon the advice of some guy.... can't remember his name - some scout dude???
I have 40 Cala's, that I have to say I'm very excited about using at some point....
Knives and flaylocks are just not my thing. |

Have Core Flaylocks, haven't used them in months.
'Toxin' ICD-9 SMG is my new go-to since it's "free", but I haven't dropped Proficiency on them yet.
I use the TT-3 ScrP as my primary on an alt account.

i used it as a primary on my demolitions logi for about 3 months becuase i disliked the gallante AR and i have to say i stood toe to toe with most AR wielders within my ideal range.
ive held off entire squads before with just my SMG and my wonderful explosive charges :P
its a hit and run monster, catching people running in and out of close cover is easy when the clip size lets you hodl down the trigger while playing peekaboo, you can deal quite a bit of damage with that kind of sprey and prey peekaboo style then charge in for the kill if you have a supirior positon or the HP advantage. |

higher chance of headshots due to the head hitbox taking up a larger portion of the field of view :P now you know why! its also why shotgun scouts tend to jump with shotguns :P |

IGÇÖve always ran Winmatar Logistics and never had the fortune to roll with a sidearm, so over the past 11 months IGÇÖve had to learn how to cook grenades in relation to what proximity a reddot is from me. I know they don't exactly count as a sidearm but they are the best I have to hand....

I love the Scrambler Pistol (all varients) but am afraid to pour more points because the Ion Pistol might be knocking on my doorstep anytime soon.
I used to use the Nova Knives a lot back in 1.5, but got rusty with them to the point that I suck. |

The IA5 TSP is my favorite sidearm. I bought 450 of those "Rattati Assault G/1-Series" pre packaged fits (I'm a Gallente specialist btw) just because it comes with a "'Hazemoon' IA5 TSP" (Ooo, Hazemoon  ). You've got to love that increased zoom when you can quickly take the time necessary to line up that head shot.

SMG are the best friend to my combat rifle.
Sometimes i can save ammo by using my SMG in CQC instead of my combat rifle.
Oh and the Isukone Assault SMG ROFL STOMPS players no matter what suit they are in!

I really use the Templar scrambler pistol the most, But those fittings are MLT and it is dumb. So sometime I swap it out for the Toxin SMG. Which is definitely awesome and it's only slightly less effective than the Six Kin SMG.
Viziam Scrambler Pistol tops the charts for weapon on the most fits. In Chromo I was always using the TY-5 Breach, but the changes in HP for Uprising just mean DPS is too low. As I started Uprising, on May 6th, with Profciency III in Scrambler Pistols I never really had a chance to try out the Burst and TT-3 because I just used the proto ones. I hate the burst. I am terrible with it. And the TT-3 just doesn't have the killing power of the Viziam.
Of the SMGs, I like the Boundless Breach the most.
While my Core Flaylock hasn't been used in far too long. Definitely making a fit with that tomorrow.
But the Carthum Assault Scrambler Pistol is the king of sidearms. I use it when I can. But sometimes I have to choose between Carthum or Wiyrkomi Repair Nanohives, which means my sidearm is usually down graded to the Viziam on my proto scout.

For a backup weapon when I'm using a specialized main (forge, sniper, etc.) SMGs in all their various flavors. For goofing off I like Nova Knives; nothing says 'I got you!' like a knife in the back!

It's not so bad. I need to work on my overall ammunition skill though. I feel like I empty my pistol faster than my AR.

Wolfman pcp scrambler pistol is my favorite...because the first round makes them feel dizzy and the pain drops...the second round makes them pretty much sleep. The third causes an overdose and they disintegrate on the spot. Bigger suits require a higher dosage.

For some reason I can't be decent at both at the same time. Started w/ SMG's and got really good but couldn't use pistols worth a damn back then. Then switched to pistols and can use them very well, and can't kill a fresh out of the academy scout with my SMG.....
Still want to use those Cala's though....
It did take me a while to get my first Wolfman's pistol... not sure I'll be using those much. But those IA5's: to me they are the true dueling champs.... TT-3 ROF w/ awesome zoom but a bit less damage....
Did someone say light weapons... meh. Keep 'em.... I've got less than 100k allocated to light weapons in general, out of over 20M SP. |

I only rock sidearms - my favorites are theKLO-1 pistol and zn-28 knives. Basic breach pistol is badass too, but unless it's a scout or light suit, it's gotta be a sneaky headshot! |
