As I created an ALT to make some ISK, I am amused to see how much a STARTER FIT is utter crap. A good question me and my buddies asked ourselves is how many Starter fit does it take to put out an 80,000 ISK milita tank ? |

(trick question, good luck taking out a tank not driven by a complete idiot with anything less than several ADV swarms; even then...)

Two, but you need to put packed AV grenades on the fit. run up on the tank, beat its **** in the dirt with the packed avs. Dead. You must both do it at the same time.
standard packed AVs add up to 2700 damage before bonuses (militia tank starts with 5k). Therefore, you need two sets of packed.
A whole squad of packed AV will decimate a militia tank after the first throw, standard tanks with proto gear fitted may take most of your grenades, but it will still die in under 2 seconds.
It's astonishing that people don't know this.

just asking because you can almost throw AV nades as far as it takes time to lock on the vehicule with the swarm. I am amazed how the Swarm is totally useless then against AV Nades.
I have seen more than 6 people with swarms in a match trying to take out the usual 4 enemy tanks that swarms in OMS. This is actually almost half the team to take out one tank. But the come in / out strategy makes it totally inneficient.
Tanks for the AV refresh I will spread the joy...
Also I started to use Proximity mines and they do annoy but almost never destroy tanks... there should be a way to raise proficiency in proximity mines and remote explosives... |

One. I did it to a missile tank before with hardeners and everything, no support. Assault suit VS Tank, winner Assault. Well... not just one, but any tanks that bothered to camp an area for longer than a minute.

An infinite amount. A squad of militia swarms isn't enough to hurt a tank. Not enough damage is done between rep/hard cycles to be effective.
It takes 3 Proto Breach Forge Gun shots to kill a MILITIA armor tank. 1 if you hit the sweet spot at the back. |

Don't engage a Tank with activated hardeners. Think where will he hide wenn hardeners go down try to take him there down. 2 guys with starter fitt can take a MTank down. |
