I am seeing a large number of campaign promises that well let's be frank may be vapor by the time the elections roll around due to potential whatever ccp decides to pick for a patch.
That would be like trying to run for presidency to end a war, and halfway through your campaign the war ends and now you have nothing to run on.
Remember Elections are set to around mid 2014.
So be mindful of your platform and ask yourself would it really still be a viable discussion point come voting time?

In my opinion... They should focus their campaign in what they've done as Dust players ... Not on promises to force CCP to do "this or that"
Tanks 514! Cheap, fast, Indestrucbible and you see tankers telling it's balanced...

Lol, as if CCP moves that fast. The issues now will most likely be the same crap we'll be arguing about for the next two years. EVE development moves faster than this trainwreck and that's still slower than a slug.

I'm much more interested in peoples ability to take criticism, be neutral, be active (even if it's lurking), be somewhat professional and have the time to dedicate to the post. Nevermind having thick skin, I just play the game and I've been given a "death threat" along with plenty of hate mail, so having your real name out there and being the center of attention (hate) is definitely a big thing.
I don't care what you as a CPM member want to accomplish if it has anything to do with specific parts of the game. I want to see how good you are at offering constructive criticism, sitting down and analyzing the ins and outs of suggestions. Even if your ideas did make it in, you wouldn't even be able to talk about it, so as far as I'm concerned these people saying they're going to change X thing basically just have no idea what they're in for.

IMHO, IWS and a couple others are decent CPMs.
There are a couple people that shouldn't be CPMs and need to get jetted back into gen pop.

You should run IWS, your ideas are usually level headed and you've been the most active CPM member as far as posting in the general forums at least. I admit I never go to other forums so I can't speak to who posts what in your guys' neck of the forums. |

I'll run for this position.
My platform is as follows:
1. I'll represent the players. ALL players.
2. I won't push a corporate agenda.
3. I'll listen to the opinions and ideas of others with respect.
4. I'll consider each idea and proposal on it's merits.
5. I will work every day to try to improve this game, the player experience and support DUST/EVE integration.
6. I'll sign an NDA and keep my word. My corporation will not get any information prematurely from me.
7. I'll work with the Devs to improve their blogs.
