I only scammed but not alot, because im poor as **** and cant make isk, dont play too much, and it took me 6 months to get the cash, all I wanted was templar gear, I would have paid him back when the market opened as I didnt need the isk if we had one (as I said to a different dealer)

It's a mixture; I didn't like how much joy some people in this thread took to the rantings and ravings of someone who just operates on another level as they do. Those guys should have known better than to relish in that. As such my gift wasn't really as much for Jerrmy as it was a backhanded pimp slap to them. And sure enough as the situation kinda got reversed they were the ones starting to whine, creating threads, ranting and raving. So I don't think they're morally superior and entitled to hand out life lessons. But that's just me messing around with things. At least everyone involved should have been in this mindset at some point.
Apart from that I've been in touch with Jerrmy for a couple of months now. He participated in both of my giveaways and he started to do a giveaway himself. I don't think I would have given him a code if he hadn't shown that he can contribute to the community in a positive manner.
And lastly; it's my stuff and it's a game. Nothing needs to make sense. Most of the time you can just shake your head and say to yourself "Well, look at that weird ****". I know it's hard to keep an emotional distance when you get involved. But sometimes you just need to take a deep breath or listen to some nice music.

So I don't think they're morally superior and entitled to hand out life lessons. But that's just me messing around with things. At least everyone involved should have been in this mindset at some point. Apart from that I've been in touch with Jerrmy for a couple of months now. He participated in both of my giveaways and he started to do a giveaway himself. I don't think I would have given him a code if he hadn't shown that he can contribute to the community in a positive manner. And lastly; it's my stuff and it's a game. Nothing needs to make sense. Most of the time you can just shake your head and say to yourself "Well, look at that weird ****". I know it's hard to keep an emotional distance when you get involved. But sometimes you just need to take a deep breath or listen to some nice music. Not that I want to lecture any of you

This was my real beef with the situation and why I was disappointed in you. I thought rewarding the total douche and denying help to Mauren was your intention all along. While I loathe the fact that you rewarded the extremely undeserving scum, it bothered me more that it was serving to further exacerbate Mauren's loss at his hands. Beyond the original act of theft, jerrmy12 has clearly proven who he is by his follow-up statements on the forums. While I still don't understand your motivations in giving a code to such a worthless individual, I now better understand what wasn't a motive at least. I think many, including my self, thought you were taking jerrmy12's side, and even laughing at Mauren in the situation. I apologize if I jumped a little far to a conclusion, but in my defense, your actions make that pretty confusing.

Also, Jerrmy, while it's not going to get you banned, don't steal from others if you cannot handle being stolen from. Also don't be a douche about being a thief; it holds little social status in Dust 514 as you have found out. Poofing your posts away, calling others liars and threatening suicide isn't going to win you any fans. When your ISK got stolen in return and you felt like crap you should've realized that that is what you were inflicting on others and apologized, not gotten into a cycle of "whine -> realize no one cares because it's the internet -> whine more."
