I used the meta 1 variant to carve through 5 guys in less than 10 seconds at shotgun range. It was stupid awesome! RR is weak by comparison. Idk why people use anything else. I'm currently loving the Tac rifles again, with everyone using RR (Its a beast in close quarters as well, especially if you have a scanner and come around the corner already firing for the head) they are staying a range in open maps giving the clear advantage back to the tac which not only out hits them per shot but has a longer range (And these silly RR users are just sitting still thinking that they are going to get that magic headshot while I triple tap their faces) CLEAR THE AREA BEFORE GOING FOR THE REVIVE!

I've switched over to the rail rifle for now, AR is just to restricted compared to other rifles to be on the same level.

I am a support logi and use the Basic AR for the very low fit requirements. I don't plan to acctually SHOOT it much, but I am carrying one most of the time.

It's UP compared to other rifles and is outperformed in CQC-mid range by the CR. I like all of the variants except the Burst(because lol Burst) and actually have separate Gallente Assault fits based around certain AR variants. After using the RR, the Breach feels even better. I can blame the RRs recoil and the accuracy of the Breach's shots also the hip-fire is tight but that's neither a pro or con. I'm used to it's capabilities but a buff to RoF and the actual clip could help(but then you should have plenty of intervals to reload currently considering how much damage you can put out with only 5 shots). The Glu/Tact is pretty well off. Sure the Scrambler Rifle hits harder with one shot and the Rail Rifle as well but the Glu/Tact is faster, less recoil, and compared to the RR, it's easier to place a HS or at least weaken the enemy to less than 20% of their eHP. It MIGHT could use a DMG buff but I personally like it how it already is. Now, the actual Assault Rifle needs some work to feel legit again for me. It needs a RoF buff and a better range(I never did understood how the AR was called a "Sniper Rifle" for the Assault back when it's only competitor was the ScR...). With the AR, I want to hit you FAST with proper aiming and timing. I also suggest considering a recoil buff if also considering a RoF increase. And because SCR users have a good accuracy. So they charged up and shoot. CR is WAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more powerful than SCR. CR is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more powerful !!!!!!! Than everything. Including HMG forge AR and...even Blasters Turrets of tanks have less DPS than CR. And it's not "theorical damage" like SCR or AR here we have the real stats and they are viable.

I find that when the game is lagging badly it can become a real f*cker trying to control the overheat on the scrambler rifle. That might just be me though.
