The problem is they'd have to make militia versions of everything, which they seem hesitant to do for some reason, and can you imagine the fitting requirements of a militia SR? Would make it tough to fit much of anything on the starter suits. Still think they should do it, though. They did make all of the racial rifles only require Light Weapon I, which was a step in the right direction, but most new players are going to naturally gravitate towards the AR just because of the name (which should be Blaster or Plasma Rifle, imo). Including the appropriate weapons with the starter fits would encourage racial diversity on the battlefield from the get-go and perhaps incline folks to explore the skill tree a little more, aside from just plain making sense in the context of the game universe.
