As someone with a dedicated tanker alt, I think rewarding commitment in SP to a skill tree is important. I understand nerfing Militia tanks, but where did the Enforcer tanks go? I never used them before but I always looked at them in awe and don't think I ever saw one in battle.
Are they going to get added back in? I don't see a reason to train HAV skill any more once you can run a Maddy and Gunny.
I would like to see the higher tier tanks added back in. Make them cost a lot so when you lose one you cry a little. That would be fine. But I want to blow a lot of ISk in a match on one uber tank I think that would be fine. |

Enforcers aren't higher tier. They were specialized versions of the STD variants, less tank with more gank. They weren't removed permanently, CCP has stated that they intend to reinstate them when tank/AV balance is more or less acceptable, and at the moment, it is not.

It is very likely that 'lateral' versions of tanks will be (re)introduced. Which is great.
But, for the sake of the game, I sincerely hope that higher tier tanks are never brought back!
The model where you have tiered tanks A, B, C, D is most likely the scenario A < B < C <<< D.
Meaning it never ever makes any sense to use anything lesser than D once you have the skills.
Veterans might remember on field those funny LOLMADRUGARs and LOLGUNNLOGIs, anyone using them were either noob or 'tard.
We do not want that again.

Also i hope I can run Militia tank to an acceptable degree as long as I actually have skills to run them. Better fitting skills etc. |
