I personally think corps are to blame for the lack of eve link, infact they blocked the eve link pretty good. I think for things to have worked better and players to have instantly felt an EVE connection we should have stayed mercenaries. Hired by eve corps to do their dirty work on the ground whilst they stole the sky. We could have eventually been accepted into their ranks as a trusted player they would alow above in their UFO's, so they could tote us around to where they needed us. When attacking a district, all player must be aboard the ship by x o'clock, then dropped at said district by an eve convoy ready to offer orbital support, installation support and clone numbers. As it us we don't actually need them, they don't need us.
what do you think?

I think the fact we are given ownership of territory in pc destroys it as well, the ps3 won't allow us to do anything with the territories anyway, nothing decent anyway.
Anyway, anyway, anyway and anyway OR anyway?

We never had any of that, in order to kill something it must first be alive.

And then maybe when you gain highest standings you can apply as a soldier to their corp and gain additional benefits from them and then start playing as part of an empire rather than a merc.

Thats what I'm saying your quoted thingny bobba majigga above from my OP was a brief explination of how I think attacking a district should go.
@techmeds, absolutely, districts should have been given to the Eve corp after a victory, whilst we got our cash, salvaged buttplugs and skittles from the enemy corpses and moved on to where the money was good.

There's a lot of stuff eve can do but dust can't (check employment history, read a corp description, access a shared corp inventory, etc, etc) that really needs to get baked into dust. As it is right now dust players are really second class eve citizens segregated off into their own little world. I can't even read the eve forums wtih my dust account and vice versa. |

Even more the reason IMO to make corps eve side only, they are set up to handle everything better. They have the time and history required to run their game and Dust514 to their advantage, here at dust514, we'll NEVER run their game, never.

Maybe in the end we'd be working towards, gaining respec, stature and then payroll, where we have declared we will only fight for Corp X in return they fund our asses. This would also allow Eve corps to hire the wrong bunch, who they think are coming to fight for them on a district, but when deployed lose the district.
