To start with, I do still play, but not very much at all. If my frinds aint online then the game isn't fun, when they are we create the comedy to make dust worth playing. As for the game...
Diversity: Doesn't exist on dust, just about everyone uses a form of assualt rifle, wether its RR/CR/AR/SCR. Heavies, scouts, commandos, assualt, logistics. This isn't diverse. This is everyone using one weapon type. I personally do not think A heavy should be able to hide his poor gungame behind his crutch ass HP and Assault rifle. Removing the ability to equip a "L" in a "H" slot won't make the game less diverse as it has previously been pointed it, it will help settle classes into their roles. If you want a heavy frame and a light weapon, skil into Commando, that is what they are for. I also do not think that a scout should run around with AR's, just doesn't seem right. I'd like to see side arms, light, medium and heavy as weapon choices, locking lights frames from anything above light weapons and heavies locked into a heavy role. CCP needs to do its part by speeding up the process in which new weapons are added, new suits and new classes/roles. in order to diversify this game, not just allow a free for all of poor gunplay and crutch players.
Gamemodes: we have 2; Ambush, run around like a headless chicken and spam nades and your ar. or just tank spam. Hack ****: run around like a headless chicken and spam nades and your ar. or just tank spam.
All tactics have gone, roles aren't really needed, just spam uplinks, hives, nades ans scream at the tv when your kill by bullshit circumstances, like the other guy out played you fair n square, except that wasn't what happened, ________ needs to be nerfed because it obviously OP if it can kill you. Really tho, both game modes are boring. switch to FW and your playing skirmish, run a PC match your running skirmish. Domination is just skirmish for those who don't want to have to guard or attack multiple points, fact remains, hack and defend a letter until enemy depletes or MMC is popped. We need more, this is a must for dust to survive.
Vehicle spam: I don't care about this one, but new players probably go bug eyed and just say **** this. Which is a correct response. CCP need to add the other racial tanks, dropshits and MAV's and create a real vehicle aspect to the warfare, not just call down 6 0sp soma/sicas and run wild.
Eve link: FW has made this cool, but new players will not know that us experienced players are sat in channels with eve players getting our support sorted. They will see NO EVE LINK. Its advertised as being there and needs to be added.
Speed of development: This is the killer for DUST514, this is a console game where all the ADD kids hang out. **** needs to happen faster. There is NO good reason why theres only 1 new role in just about 8 months of play, NO good reason why there is LESS vehicles than there were 8 months ago. NO good reason why there have only been 5 new weapons added in 8 months, 2 maps(which are almost the same map, or just one big map split). Developmen is moving too slow, and for those trying to stick with dust, it is painful to watch and painful to explain to someone you tried to get to play in may who just decided to try it now, that NO there really is no differnce between what you turned down then and what you might try now.
Take the recent vehicle fix, give me ONE good reason why, in the 3 months they took to redo the vehicles they never tought of adding the Amarr and Minmatar tanks. They should have been there, that alone for me was the proof I needed thta I don't have the patience to wait and wait and wait, whilst CCP treat the community as mushrooms, kept in the dark and fed on ****.
For now I'll be on GT6, checking in every few days to play a few lol matches with my friends. As I see it, the game is lost, doesn't know what its own plans are, doesn't know how the next day will vary from the day before unless it does one thing, stall. Hold up and hold steady. **** needs adding at a better rate.

We definitely need more game modes. Also, things need to look different. It feels like I'm playing the same map over and over. Weapons should look different from militia to standard to advanced. There shouldn't be any useless skills that only unlock things. Attachments we need them, they turn one gun into 10 or more variations. Also, we need a squadless mode by now. Free for all; straight up death match. For the love of God put in the paint bucket already!

I fully agree, when i started playing in Chromo I was literlly gobsmacked going from MLT ar to the Gek, just to see the same weapon, I did take it as placeholders and will be added, but come to find out that that isn't whats up.
Attachments are almost a standard for shooters. I know lotsa people who will not play a shooter unless attackments are there. My brother in law won't play BL2 with, the game has attachments, but they are stuck to weapons, he likes the ability to change them out when he wants. I always thouhgt CCP should ask Crytek to fix their weapons, in both looks and the workings. Even tho Crysis isn't the best of games the weapons look, sound and work great, with the ability t switch scopes out during the battle, switch bullet type, from underslung nade launcher to front grip etc. its needed.

Developers don't really ask other developers for help, unless of course they get paid. Anyways Crytek uses the cryengine, CCP uses U3. So it wouldn't work out anyways.

The best way I can describe to you what CCP is doing is to say, with limited staff, an impatient community, a budget barely capable of making a shopping list application, and the new EP has lead this to be a game that most want to play, but ultimately don't because of its problems. I have to say that I do not share your complaints with this game, but I will admit there are problems that really need to be addressed with the development cycle. I can hope that with me as CPM1 we can get this to change, and finally move onto more and better content within DUST514.

If thy bring NEW stuff in then maybe I'd buy more AUR. right now there aint a fkin thing worth my $$. I don't like CPM I vote to destroy the CPM, and instead have dev's make a post, like.. "what would you like to see added next?" or maybe they could use their fancy menu skills to add an ingame weekly poll that players can answer questions and give instant feedback. Giving certain members a pedistool isn't the way forward.
