Elect one of the CPM that is a FPS fan. That loves the FPS genre. That wanted dust to maybe not change the face FPS gaming but be among the FPS games that is fondly thought of being great.
That knew what Corp battles brought into dust. That knows what healthy competition brings to FPS games. And I'm not talking about eve financed ones. (looking at you PC)
Elect a FPS player who wanted to contract his services to another genre. For the benefit of dust, have one cpm member be NOT involved in EVE.

everyone in CPM0 and those running for CPM1 fills that role, unless you mean the purely competitive side of fps, at which point i guess i fill that role

If only that was the case. EVE was the interest. I've been here since closed beta, and the "I wish dust was anything other then FPS" was running rampant. (community not just some cpm members) To which is no surprised as where dust ended up in 1.0. every and mean almost every suggestion any FPS player made was met with a "THIS IS NOT COD, or BF.. or even FPS" yeah...dust is not a FPS. lol
So hoping this time atleast one guy or gal sits up there with the interest of dust being for what it is. a fps game.
EDIT: With ties to eve-online. bring the interaction, but don't forget the engine that moves the game. |

i think you misinterpreted what people meant by "this is not COD/BF", people complained that TTK was too high and that the guns all do more damage to make dust into a twitch shooter
I do hold interest in both the vehicle and weapon aspects of dust, this included talks with the current CPM and a few CCP devs about balancing ideas for current/future weapons

I'm guessing you running tech? lol Then I'll ask one question, and this can be aimed at all who are running.
WHY ARE FPS POPULAR? Don't think just about the BF and COD. The genre encompasses so many series that hugely followed and loved. that's my only question. Just like I may not like MMOs. (It took me awhile) But I get why they are liked. (still won't touch one tho  ) |
