People forget rather frequently how good they have it.
This is the case of many Dust514 players.
Of Course its easy to focus in all the crappy stuff dust has, say;
like AV-Tank imbalance (mostly because of Hardener Stacking and MLT tank spam), Or Rifle supremacy, or Lag issues, Fw imbalances next to stunningly inefficient Matchmaking douche-bot Scotty (that got bribed by big corps so they are only stacked vs Randoms...) ( XD)
But still. I must say. I miss dust.
Its only been 2 weeks (maybe 3 im not sure) but i cant find myself another game to play.
And i've tried other FPS....
BF 4 is crap in PS3, Borderlands 2 does not feature competitive vs matches.Its , too random even while fun.
KZ3 seems WAY to slow compared to dust. I really couldnt believe how long the TTK was and how slow soldiers were.
Brink was DECENT , until i discovered the Noob tube and figured this game is never going to be balanced and this crap 1HKOs multiple enemies per SHOT...and to think people sometimes whine about MAss Drivers...
Not to mention, Dust is FREE to play. I could try it out and if i didnt like it , just leave,cost free!
Most of these other games are not even that good and CHARGE you to play them.(Except BL2 that was free on PS+)
Just saying=
GÖª Dust has a good community, great, compared to other games
GÖª Dust has very decent graphics! If not good, for its speed that is.
GÖª RPG'esque skill trees! they give the game great depth!
GÖª Loadout customization: Except for FOTM fits, you will most likely never find another player with your exact same loadout and Stats! This is somewhat exiting!
GÖª The Promise of Dust. The fact the game is not finished is GOOD because it might become anything! from a steaming pile of S*** to the greatest FPS of all. We are all just hoping its the second and thats why we are still here..
lets start this 2014 with hopes in CCP and appreciation for this game that has consumed so much of our time (LOL).
And STILL, with all the bugs,imbalances and lacking features, somehow, its still fun as hell....
Well, for you that is...

Indeed, at its core dust is more dynamic than any other "AAA" game you can spend money on. Most of those games have a bunch of shiny but lack any type of depth or meaning beyond kill the enemy.
This is why dust is the endgame, sure its pretty dusty right now, but the shiny can come after the core. Dust has ruined other fps games for me, as they cannot possibly come close to dust, even in the state its in. |
