So decided to go play ambush with swarms
First match killed 3 armor tanks because they were focusing on my team and not me, however I seem to of hit a brick wall the second match, I took out a soma, then a Python but I died a fair few times due to Infantry. Seems to me the problem isn't the AV, but the fact I'm going up against groups of people solo, I can 1v1 a tank, however I cannot fight 3+ and infantry.
Anyone running ambush squads and isn't a whiner?
Actually, might need to go get some more state stuff, someone squad with me in like an hour.

Well then so much for that, for all the enthusiasm the real AVers had about getting tankers to run AV, you've all gone rather quiet.
Just killed another few tanks and some dropships and the offer is /closed :)

The other day I was in an ambush and rounded the corner on an enemy proto amarr Logi with a swarm launcher. I felt so bad for him that I ceased fire to let him live. I was looking to get out of the suit I was in (was getting scanned and wanted to swap to a ghost fit) so I tried to stay with him so he would kill me. Yea, I now hate tanks that much.

I did 3 matches with my Gunnlogi today. sorry about anyone that I played against. I was solo and destroyed everything from turrets, to dropships, tanks, lavs, and infantry galore. it was like mass murder. took first place every match, of course. Never died, so I got bored and put it away.
the best was when a proto swarmer tried to kill me, I stood there looking at him while he jumped around shooting his swarms like fireworks in the sky. he quickly ran out of ammo, and thought he would try to finish off my full shields with his submachine gun. then with one shot I put him out of his misery so I could end his torment.
Please give tanks some balance

With one hardner, each missile of a swarm does only 70.4 damage. Even with max prof and 2 damage mods, it is 100 damage per missile. That means 1 volley from a proto swarm will do about 600 damage, assuming all of the missiles hit. or 1800 damage over a period of 4.2s, followed by 5.9 seconds of no damage.
Of course you will have recovered over 700 HP through natural regen between reloads (minimum 2 second flight for missiles). So to waddle through just your base shield HP would take all three volleys, at which point he is out of ammo, and you have been getting hit by the same swamr launcher for over 30 seconds. |

I play with my PLC suit all the time and it gets kills. It is not the AV it is the teamwork. A squad with three advanced AV and two assaults and a logi will wreck all but the best pilots. I can solo most vehilces enough to at least put them in low armor if not pop them. Teamwork is the way to fix the vehicle problem.

Stress the teamwork. Our squad has been practicing balance. A couple commandos a couple logis and a couple more point men. Tank killing tirades have been getting awesome and what a thrill dodging tanks and getting the kills and putting bad drivers out of their misery...
