Ld Collins Titans of Phoenix 99	Posted - 2014.01.02 21:40:00 - [1] - Quote How about a new tactic I tried it today and it works I just need to test whether or not the driver will be killed. Take a saga and put 4 boundless RE's on it drive up to a tank bail then use the RE detonator. The tank will blow up but your lav will still be alive without a scratch. There's also the possibility of having a squad mate drive the lav and when he is close to his target he will order me to fire. I will detonate the explosives from a safe distance and he can return to my location and be re armed. I'm also considering the following possibilities putting RE's on the bottom of a dropship and landing on top of the tank and detonating then flying away.

Might work on a rail sniper tank though. I've blown up instillation by jumping out and tossing a grenade to set off the RE's because I switched to a starter suit. Assault dropship gets blown up.... But having your partner give you the clear is like having a guided missile. Id really like to try this out im not sure if the dropship will go flying into the air i need to find someone crazy enough to try this

Err.. how would you GET them on the bottom? PS: I LIKE it... if you can get it to work. In the interest of equal opportunity offensiveness, I guess we'd have to rename those to "kamikaze kondors" or something though. you'd probably want to do a high-speed dive, then eject, so you can hit the explode trigger. Problem is though, a high-speed eject is likely to give you a "headshot' style ddeath where you wont get opportunity to trigger it? Maybe switch to passenger seat? hmm, but again, problem of (too far away, wont work), vs (close enough = explode death = cant use manual trigger) ?

They only stick to the nose, apparently. PRO tanker and proud. Number of PRO-turret HAVs killed w/ my permahardened MLT Blaster Gunny - 1 (so far xD)

In which case, for those of you willing to spring for a "Cruise Missile", vs a dumb shoulder-fire missile: Seems like it would be worth investing in a fit that included hardener(s), and a scanner. 'course, if you're REALLY throwing money at it, throw a full tank at it, with double hardeners. Would be fun to have a chicken fight to see which tank, if any, survives the blast shield tank with double hardeners would survive initial, I think, for up to 4 remotes? Then pop any leftovers with your actual tank main gun? I might have to try this, just because I have too much ISK than I know what to do with :D

I was doing it with a friend today. no loss of life, but definitely needs good coordination. mic required obviously. it's kind of boring just sitting at the supply depot, but I watch the map and look for threats, then back out and hit the button when he says, "Now!" The nice thing is that the tank can be moving away and it doesn't matter. you can also take out other lavs. still, it gets boring. Please give tanks some balance

Ehhh I dont think its harder I just think that its less of a hassle to spawn a lav throw Re's on it switch to a free suit then try to ram a tank. Once you successfully ram the tank you and the tank blows up and you have to start all over. I've put Re's on a jeep ran into a tank full speed and went flying into the air only to not explode and get blow up by the tank. You dont have to wait at the supply depot you could easily be a passenger.
