I just hacked a letter and placed an RE 1/3 of the way up on the wall that is directly behind the hacking console. I saw a red dot go to the letter start hacking it, I triggered the RE which is literally a foot behind him directly facing his back and it did no damage to him. The only thing I can think is the friendly shields absorbed it and protected him, which I ask why does it even need shields? This isn't skirmish 1.0 were we could destroy them so why do they still have shields?

I have killed plenty of reds with that tactic. Maybe lag? Usually I get that right before I disconnect, that and me constantly reloading and people walking though walls.

Yeah that happens fom time to time. It also hapen to weapon fire as well I cant count how many times my shots were blocked despite having clear sight of view... |

Yeah its point less for them to have shields since it can't be destroyed, all the shields do now is just get in the way.

Null cannons get in the way of combat so much. I've started defending from inside null cannons because it's so hard to hit through them sometimes.

Null cannons (which are not actually cannons, nor do they fire the hybrid ammunition known as null, but are missile launchers) currently have a glitchy hitbox that interferes with aim assist because reasons. |

I have noticed the same thing and reported it in bugs forum and nothing has been done about this bug. I have witnessed it too. |

REs I throw above the terminal slide up the wall and hover about 12m in the air...anyone else see this?

I submitted a bug about this with video. We haven't had a feedback update from the devs since 12/05/2013. I hope they have this one.

The name has bugged me for a as long as I've played - IIRC someone once said that way back at the very start of the beta the used to be turrets instead of launchers. (but that was before my time - and I suspect I may have imagined reading about it ) |
