I'd like to shot a tank in the tracks and affect it's ability to drive I'd like to shoot tanks in the engine and have it stall momentarily. Shoot it in the front exactly where the driver sees from and mess up their ability to see. Shoot the turret where the servo is and make the turret less responsive. Of course none of this would work until they were into armor.
Also, shooting them in the ass doesn't seem to cause any additional damage anymore. |

Ageed.
And just for everyone's knowledge, the curve of weak points on most tanks, from weakest to strongest, goes:

Only if the same thing applies to infantry.
Get hit in the arm? Your aiming becomes worse. Get hit in the head? Vision is reduced. Get hit in the chest? Stamina capacity and regeneration is decreased. Get hit in the leg? Running capability is reduced.
What's the difference between an immobile Minmatar ship and a pile of garbage?
The pile of garbage is more lethal.

And if you damage the exosuit, its performance is decreased. Also, don't bring up shields next. Shields protect vehicles in the same way, and it's racially unbalanced to have only armor hits affect performance.

Edited to remove rant. I am truly getting sick of tankers wanting their win button left alone. |

That's why it should only affect vehicless, since there is a greater need to disable vehicles than infantry, especially in this build

The reason it should only affect vehicles is completely different.
Anyways, I wouldn't mind this being implemented, but only if it affects vehicles while they are in hull.
But hull doesn't exist!

Nice so that I can kill a armor tank without taking any damage
Real tanker would get off their tank untill their tank blow up, although not much people can blow up their tank.

Yeah, it would favor shield tanks some. I also think that armor tanks need to be more slow the more plates they stack. It would promote teamwork with infantry since flux grenades would be good against shield tanks. |

Balance has to do with how the game is played not the perception of balance. Tanks are totally balanced right now.... Except when you play the game it is obvious they arn't.
I made this suggestion because if infantry can't kill tanks by design then at least make it more fun poking them. Tanks already just slugfest each other to death so none of these suggestions would make any difference for tank vs tank battles except for an occasional lucky shot.
Think of it like a headshot kill.
Or just rage. Internet rage makes me laugh.
