Still extremely viable- unlike codex where you would always see a dropship circling the map with 3 or 4 volleys behind them. We used to have a time machine

If you manage to do it please record and post It was an accident at first, enemy pilot had landed and gotten killed, so me and a squad mate hacked to ship and I hopped on top to hack. He got in the pilots seat, while I stayed on top. I thought I'd be immediately shaken off, but I wasn't!
