If I cant hit a tank or a drop ship with three salvos and kill it can I atleast blow up a pilon blocking a walkway ramp so they atleast explode for a reason.

Why do people think that swarms are the only AV option?

Attorney, you combo-breaking bastard.
Also, forge gun is still awesome. Might have problems soloing unless you get crits - might need to be in nice and close for a few packed AV nades. With a couple of those, you should actually be able to kill a tank through a single hardener. Assuming they haven't got extenders.

You need a minimum of two advanced swarms and a proto forge to take out a dropship with anything other than luck, in most cases.

AV is worthless when going SOLO.
Yes, Swarms are underpowered.
ISK balance for AV and Vehicle is ****** up.
Spawn-system is ****** up, Tankers know where you'll spawn and yes I know there are uplinks but if a tank is spawnkilling then the rest of those reds destroy or camp those uplinks like a drugs dog.
Random bluedots are stupid.
But AV isn't worthless, if something is then it's the whole game. |

And one that fits on a medium suit as well. Maybe CCP don't want medium suits blowing up great big tanks on there own.

IMO (as a nobody that sucks at the game lol) when it comes to AV a couple of medium sized troopers should be able to take on a smallish vehicle (LAVS and speeders if/when we get them) but not a tank... leave the tanks and bigger vehicles (when/if it happens) to the bigger suits (we want more large frames and weapons CCP) and other vehicles.
Anyone getting annoyed by reading of the above post should consider the following.
I don't care so neither should you :)

Nah just one lil ol dual comp dmg mod lvl 4 proficiency proto Breach Forge to the weak spot is enough to make most dropships go OMGWTFBBQ and die. works on sh*t tanks too but their weak spot is a lot harder to hit at the range i prefer to engage vehicles these days.
Thanks CCP for making the HMG Heavy viable again :3
