So me and my CEO were pubbing about in tanks, i get ambushed by a Ai102 blaster maddy, being thy my tank was a dmg mod blaster sica, i almost ran away. Then his overheat came, and i started peltin him:
I noticed immediately it was taking way too long to break through, and after 30% armor damage(70%renaining) pilot jumps out and tries to AR me...
I kill him, and have my CEO hack it- he proceeds to tell me that it's a shitfit.
I don't believe him, so i escort him to our redline to rep up and see for myself:

Blasters(didn't check)
Militia nitrous
3x plates
Overall armor was 6000 which led me to find it's 3 60 plates... ON A MADDY.
Then we got orbitaled by the enemy, and i laughed.
Edit: just might wanna make this a discussion by posing this question:
Is the majority of our players just idiots, or are they just trying to fit their tanks like Gallogis?

I already know of the sica fit: it's what my infantry character has for backup.
I mean, the full plate maddy is worse than a SHIELD TANKED maddy, and i know, i've tried it and killed a gunny.

It can't kill my Gunnlogi, at least that quickly. It will require at least one cool down and one reload.

...mightve been that then. All i explicitly remember was paintjob and 3 plates. Too damn slow to climb a hill, too damn slow to outrun a Sica on nonflat ground.

Then I double/triple harden and/or amp and you die immediately. I pop a dozen of these a day in a cheap blaster Gunnlogi if I'm not preempted. Of course, if you're using the red line, then that's another story. Usually I suicide run you; popped 3 of this exact fit in a CCP squad before committing red line suicide.
Also, crappiest tank I have stolen was a Madrugar with a Shield Hardener, CPU mods and a light armor repper.

I stole a Soma that had 2 Armor Hardeners that someone had abandoned.
I also destroyed a Madrugar that had 2 Armor Plates, 1 Armor Repairer, and an Ion Cannon. Yes, someone with an Ion Cannon used a terrible fit.

I found a HAV with an MCRU, PG Mod, and one MLT Rep (Soma), I used it well though, destroyed two tanks with it.
DUST is so broken, even my PS3 refuses to let me play it.

Some matches are really hard, guys with turbo controllers, pro squads, and fotm fits. Other matches are comically bad, with casuals, mlt, and std everywhere. So, one match will look like the academy, and the next will have proto everything. The experience is inconsistent and Scotty should try to do something about it.
...or at least a mlt only league for new players.

Back when I was trying to get murder taxis to fly, so they could murder dropships too, unfortunately, it never worked out.
