Personally I use the skill sheet under the character menu to find which skills are available to upgrade.
I find going through the skill tree to look for upgrades I can advance a little tedious and the character sheet list far easier and clear to look through.
Ok, It's probably just me but I have skills that I do not wish to advance any further, but obviously they still come up in the list. For example - I have AR operation level 4 which I have on interest in advancing. I don't begrudge my choice to skill into them to practice with burst fire weapons before combat rifles come out - The AR is a fine weapon, just not for me - That said I would like to be able to remove it from the listings.
While we're at it could we also have a separate tab added. Not only for skills we've chosen to toggle off in case we want to invest in them again but also for skills we have maxed so they also aren't included in the list?
At the moment I'm so paranoid I'll level up an unwanted skill I check the list. Exit the Character Menu. Enter the skill tree and only then add the SP
I know, I'm crazy right?

Honestly, on the list of dust priorities though, would you have this anywhere near the top? Can't we just agree there are more pertinent changes that need to be made first. |

Which might be valid if CCP only has one dev team. However, I'd bet the folks who work the graphic interface are probably completely seperatre from debugging, systems development, map making, etc. Probably leaves plenty of time for the interface guys to pick up a pet project.
Personally I'd like to see this as well. I know, read the screen... would still be nice to spend less time in the skills tree. |

Sure there are bigger fish to fry, but that's no reason not to bring up a valid idea
