Ok, this game is science fiction ... Ok, more fiction than science ... but we are playing in the future and here are some of the most stupid facts about vehicles:
- all our LAV have no torque to climb a hill ... I saw mercs push their LAV up a hill
- all our LAV are used on rough terrain but have front wheel drive ... Honda? Toyota?
- an LAV can run into a tank without much damage but a little stone on rough terrain let it fly like paper in the wind
- and ... LAV tires are made of soap .... We are more sliding through the map then driving
- tanks are faster than missiles ... WOW!!! But who cares, missiles cannot make a single scratch now IF they hit a tank
- tanks are more like dragster now ... CCP ... please add a cooler sound now and some gas stations on the map ... dingdingding ... 300.000 ISK please we are short of gas on this planet .....
- tanks can climb a hill ... where LAV cannot ... I wish we could soap the hills ...
We can go on with stupidest facts for this and other things forever. This game is still a good idea and I play it because of my team mates and friends. Before someone asks why I still play ... Ok, and a little bit of hope that one day there is THE patch!
The new tanks are totally stupid now, I agree. A tank on the field rules the game and I hope CCP will fix this mistake asap. Or do tank only battles.
And here is my main thought ... Or wish ... I would really prefer that CCP is fixing the basics first before we have a vulcano or a little bit of gras on the map, new overpowered tanks or new rifles.
I want that Europeans and US players in one corp can play together without lagging or big delays. That voice chat is functional all the time and not broken again after a new patch. That aiming works perfect and balancing is good. That in PC battles we have more than 5 frames per second, etc.
Tbc ... ;)

Any and all discrepancies or confusions between high and low tech can be explained by the fact that EVE is a world of lost and rediscovered sciences and technologies, still recovering from a cataclysm that destroyed entire civilizations and plunged New Eden into a dark age.
