CCP,
There is a major issue with PC. In case you haven't noticed, there are several corps that keep their districts locked up with friendly attacks for months. I was wondering how they were able to do this for so long, I assumed that they were losing ISK when doing this. I know you made changes to "fix this," but you forgot one case. This issue is corp A wants to lock up their districts so that they can never lose their districts and they want to still make money. They have an alt corp B that they can launch attacks from. What happens is they launch a clone pack attack from corp B, costing them 36 million ISK. When the battle occurs, both sides no show(no points hacked). When the battle expires, corp A has gotten a clone regen, and corp B received their entire 36 mil back. Corp B launches a new attack and the process repeats. This allows a corp to keep their districts locked up indefinately without losing ISK, in fact, they still get their clone regen and a corresponding genolution payout. This mechanic is breaking PC and allowing corps to operate without fear of ever losing their districts and making ISK since their district is ALWAYS "Under Attack.".
CCP, this needs to change, They should only get the genolution value of 120 clones back, ~12 million.
Please contact me if you have any questions. I appreciate your quick fix to the Logi LLAV infinate distance rep that was being abused in PC when I brought it to your attention, please do the same here.... It is ruining PC

If you wanted any more proof that CCP is either lazy, doesn't care or is too incompetent to make a game of this size, here it is. I'm sure there are other studios that will happily take on Dust 514 while letting CCP have some of the control and profit if its any of the above reasons that they just cannot make an AAA video game like other studios. |

Hmmm.
Yes people have known for a while. Still needs to be addressed, this is one of the main reasons that people don't know about PC. Because there is hardly a possibility for entry!
PC, for many is a foreign concept, and it shouldn't be like that. Most people dust side, know of it, but most of their game is focused Pub, and the new factional. PC is supposed to be the big money maker, for EVERYONE, not just a select few corps.
Way I see it, more battles should be happening. PC feels way to ******* carebear and easy!
Neways, CCP take note. PC is your only endgame atm. Many only play for that reason! PC should be a constant WAR, not a passive fing mining OP.

In ccps position it's either one thing they never thought of an it's more game breaking than the supposed "BPO PROBLEM" an cant be fixed because how will they ever know if someone makes a new PSN an attacks their corp with ten different fake corps, it's no different than making 40 fake emails, whooping ace in the academy and transferring all isk to your main toon.
So what it really does is it keeps people playing dust, it gives them online, as long as its here your better to stockpile isk to prepare for war, there's a site that informs you when battles occur an when there over, an after districts are attacked by fake corps you have to attack instantly an ASAP before they re attack themselves .
It sucks that it's this way but these corps are stockpiling millions an so is their team, and this is how crap corps regroup an get great new players because they are re preparing for war an they can coax great players into their beatup corps and rejuvenate them by offering weekly pay an good pc pay an it keeps proto stompers worried about their kdr flocking to these corps so they can maintain their proto lifestyle .
I suggest untill it's fixed suck as much out of it as you can because every other corp is, not that I don't agree with you but this game has so many exploites that there is no dishonor in being mildly prepared by doing the same, just incAse a rich corp that does this might attack your districts an drag it out till you max your assets an makes you broke.
Better to have it an not need it than need it an not have it. |
