I thought I would let you all know about a corp I ran into the other night.

I hopped into a squad while playing solo in a match last night, at first it was only me and the squad leader in it.

A little while later, a 7 year old kid jumps in the squad, running "Logstistickes" (awww).... let me tell you that kid was really good! He even flew and drove well!

He said he's part of a new corp named Young Guns, and its only for very young kids, so, I figured I'd give you all a heads up to mind language on comms when they're around and maybe give them a little leeway (not that they need it!)

let me preface this post with this, I'm a protective father who also believes there should be safe havens on the internet for children.

that being said this is not that safe haven, and shame on those parents for letting young children play this game.

games like this are the kind of place I come to to relax and unwind, away from little kids, so no I will not be watching my P's and Q's for the sake of some child who shouldn't even be playing this game....

I think his brothers and parents were very close by monitoring comms, I could hear them in the background a little, so, if you encounter them put them at ease with a few well chosen words, I believe they could hear it clearly what was being said.

It's not like you're "losing" anything by simply being courteous about harsh language come on man this is on Playstation, not PC, big difference there.

It's not like the kid was bad at the game either his KDR was double mine. Extremely talented. I enjoyed playing with him the entire time.

I'm most surprised someone from DUST university has something negative to say, boy you certainly are not your EVE counterpart.

Actually, I don't think the kid would have had too much problem with a few tanks, he flew extremely well blew my mind.

I can't get over how a 7 year old kid that could barely pronounce logistics was so amazingly good at the game.

If Dust players had the functionality and capacity to act as cruelly as EVE players can all this post would have served to do is have every corp out there target the Young Gun, break down their corp, and wipe them out just cause they can.....

One day this will be able to be done.....in future such comments will only make these corps a massive target.

don't try to make me the template for the dust/eve uni community... I'm just speaking my opinion here.... as a uni member I always practice a PG comms standard in public, however I don't think the dust community should have to cater to a child who isn't even supposed to play the game.

believe it or not I can have an opinion about something without necessarily exercising that opinion.

Actually you are so far from the University template its laughable, as is DUST University from their EVE parent: EVE University.

In EVE , University has the respect of every pilot from pirate to carebear and all trades in between, in DUST, frankly speaking, my opinion, as well from observation; DUST University is a absolute joke capilolizing on the name, and protostomping all when they are in a pub match, Ive witnessed spawn camps, red line sniping and all manner of dishonorable game play from DUST university here.

This takes the cake though

It really doesn't surprise me a bit a DUST UNIVERSITY player, of all things, is the first to voice his OPINION that it is an inconvenience to watch his mouth around kids on a Playstation game. When the entire concept and time honored practice of EVE university is to inconvenience themselves for the betterment and elevation of all pilots in EVE.

What a shame. DUST University is a real letdown.

I'm glad I can see employment history of everyone including Mercs using the EVE client, don't send any my way we have no room for your college of dishonor.

I was in e uni as well... we were always getting war deced from corps who either hate us, or found us to be easy kill mails or both... you sound just like those corps eve side.... so that's about all I care to acknowledge of this post full of mis informed lies and slander...
