why use suits when ccp gave us nice shiny op as hell tanks that cost next to nothing

come sit in my tank jasons i put minis on my favored fits as of today and named them for jase's financial growth lol
why use suits when ccp gave us nice shiny op as hell tanks that cost next to nothing

Inexpensive suits are viable and competitive, if you can't do it in an advanced suit with halfway good modules then you can't do it. Prototype gear is great and all but against a good player in a solid suit protos don't mean much, in the top tiers of the game prototype is a must but it is because they are the best. I haven't skilled into any proto suits and only one weapon.
An altered starter fit with good skills is a beast and a decent player can make 150K a match with just starter gear. I ran pure starter gear for about 5 weeks and made a ton of ISK. I am horrible at this game and a for the most part all FPSs so if I can do it then you can too.

I invested poorly. I put my sp into AV. I only have 1.5million sp total. Bad planning, I can't make isk or WP. But sica helps. |

Because despite what people think, even with the lowered tank prices, to profit with tanking you need to not lose a tank every other match. Which is impossible when you have OP milita tanks doing 2500 damage per rail shot and jihad jeeps roaming around every match because scubs can't adapt to use their actual AV properly.
I'd be fine with loosing a tank by another tank if they invested SP into it.
I'd be fine dying to remotes if I crossed their mine field.
But neither are ever the case.

Sorry, I'm too busy going 39/3 with 3000 WP earning 400,000 ISK in a Soma to answer that right now. You've lost 30 million, I've gained 6-7 million this week so far. I struggle to lose ISK even in standard tanks. Word of advice: stop running prototype turrets.
