That's exactly the reason lol When my squad gets pinned behind somewhere, I shoot the tank to divert it's attention so the squad can get away. It works 99% of the time lmfao Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives. Tuna > Tacos

I've had many a tank roll right by me and my double modded Forge when a couple of squadmates got his attention exposing his big fat rear to me, No job is worth doing if you don't get paid in the end .

Sometimes I like to add in small DPS when a tank or AV is attacking the vehicle. Sometimes I try to distract them...lol Other times I'm just toying with them because it's so easy to play with a tank when they're not built for anti-infantry. He turned to try to get an easy kill on me and I danced around obstacles between him and me for 30 seconds. Then Another (Rail) HAV showed up and tried to help him out and I danced around both of them for an additional 30 seconds before finally being killed (Free MLT Suit) My team got the hack and the enemy was unsupported trying to retake the objective for a full minute because of my shooting at the HAV with anti infantry Weapon and occupying 2 HAV's attention nothing to see here ... move along

I am a casual tanker with a full-time tankerholic alt. I love tanks as a nice reprieve from frontlining. When I run HAVs, I usually go blaster, so taking out infantry isn't too difficult. If a target eludes me or begins to present a distraction, I just move on. When I go railgun these rules apply even more. Lessons learned: 1. Many bad tankers on Dust give all tankers a bad rep. 2. Most games I'm not even hunting infantry yet they all want to shoot at me, So I then just sit there in the middle of reds not moving or responding to their attacks.
