HMG is now cool again.
All the races have their main rifles
Dropships are finally right and you see them a lot more and they don't die instantly but are not invincible
Heavy suits are about right
The aiming and hitbox issues are fixed enough that the game is playable
Infantry vs Infantry is pretty well balanced now... no more TAR blob thank God
LAVs are no longer annoying as hell
Plenty of maps (although I still think the early maps are the most balanced)
Grenades are about right
Weapon use seems pretty even for infantry; I see nova knives, snipers, and other weird weapons only occasionally
We've had enough respec's that everyone has perfect skill assignments.....just kidding 
Anyway... other than the hand wringing about tanks I'm pretty happy with 1.7 |

The rag doll physics and sticky REs.....those are my highlights of 1.7
And don't forget the rail rifle.....I love my rail rifle

enjoyed the LP store, nice to buy higher level tier suits and weapons without having to have the required skills.
Tanks are more so balanced, It takes team work to annihilate them (or just a rail or missile tank  )
Rag doll effect is by far the most impressive graphical feature they added, along with new amour and shield "hit" graphics (hexagon pattern looks pretty cool ^^)
Also before I forget, Sticky RE's and Jihad jeeps

No dropships have it hard since there are so many militia tanks around we get shot down VERY EASILY. The railgun tank mainly theres always one sitting in the redline....
Flying derpships and combat rifle destroyer fear me
