If you're a Gallente Scout... Sort of good. MAX YOUR CORE SKILLS, SON!
You don't want to have to give up your much-valued speed, in exchange for a bit of health. The most you want to fit on your G-Scout is a Reactive Plate, and even then it has the most use on a Stealth Scout. And we all know that the better Stealth Scout is the M-Scout.
Yup. Max our Core Skills. Now. It'll save you in the long run, no matter what suit you're using, because maxing out Core Armor doesn't slow your speed down and it DOES make you 25% more durable. Which is much better for a Scout.
As for repairers, you'll probably only need the Basic Repairer anyways. No use fitting anything bigger, because Scouts have little to no PG/CPU and honestly, it'd be smarter to fit a plate. And fitting a plate is dumb. In your low slots, you can put Dampeners, Range Enhancers, KinCats, CarRegs... Just about anything you need on a Scout.
This post summed up in one sentence: MAX YOUR CORE SKILLSSSS.

Yeah definitely max your cores...however I want to just point to a small module that can really help if you get good at maneuvering. I always run a basic reactive plate for the regen and the small armor boost. That 1 hp a second may not seem like much...but if your sneaking around successfully it can mean facing a sudden opponent fresh and not with 10 hp remaining.
As above though, max your cores.

I've seen proto g scouts with 700+ armour who still run faster than most assaults but if you go that way you will need rep hives or a logi to heal you or you could have less armour for a few reps
Amarr logi ftw :D
(Also...ScR is pretty good)

Hey Smooth. I definitely second maxxing the core armor and shield skills for the passive HP boosts. I've got my armor and armor repair skills maxxed as well and I pretty much only ever use either the militia (or basic if my fitting is tight) armor repairer, or the basic reactive plate as Ivy suggested.
Being out and about in the field I find that as much as I hate to sacrifice a low slot for armor reps, it's just so important to go into each engagement at max HP as a scout. Being able to take two extra AR rounds can be life and death, and since our shields are pretty thin as Gal scouts, having a decent armor buffer is a big deal.
I have a few proto fits with complex ferroscale and complex reps, along with some other scoutly range / stamina modules in the lows but I've pretty much never run with the proto fits.... for standard and advanced, level 1 in the armor module and rep skills would have served me just fine.

Take advice from me Get Armor reps 5 You know as well as I do that scouts have insane shield regeneration ability. If you make your armor the same way you basically got the fastest recovering thing on the field. Learn to play without HP.
Dual Comp Reps are a bit.....of a developed taste. Takes a lot of sacrifice for them but nothing too insane.
Armor Plate 3 Get enhanced ferroscales, they are better than most shield extenders. Armor Plates on a scout used to be good but they nerfed scout speed so stick with things that don't slow you down.
I normally run a ferro + enhanced reps combo and damage mods or shields in high. I never walk out without a armor rep of some kind (except for one fitting) and if you can use a comp reactive plate. Terrible repair rate but it's better than nothing. I use 2 enhanced Reactive plates on my TAR fit. It has more armor than if I used just a ferroscale and gives +2 reps a second but the reps are NOT affected by the repair skill so they kind of suck.
NOTE: I have Armor level 5, shield level 5, CPU and PG at level 5, so I have the optimum fitting abilities. At base I run 87 shields and 162 armor. I also have proficiency 3 in my weapons so I do fairly well off with my ADV weapons. I also trump Artificer Ghost's advice.
Does anyone remember those red Caldari flags in Manus Peak in early (pretranquility) chromosome?
