I won the match, went 16-1 with 1450 WP (3rd place) and that's all I got 
I played the whole match, no late-join.
What's up with public contract payouts?
They don't seem to follow a logical pattern to me...

Its based on what got killed by the entire battle. The other side more likely got around 90k or less payouts.

How long the match took affects how much you get paid as well. The match was probably 5 minutes long? |

To Reav: About 1700 and 2000.
But it's strange, because sometimes, when I'm in a squad, we all receive comparable payouts even if our WP total is quite different.

No, no, it was a normal skirmish. My team redlined the enemy, but it happened late in the game.

Most I ever got paid was 1.2 but there was a metric tonn of protos dying that match on both sides. Mostly because it was two corp teams against each other they had q synced 8+ guys on both sides and the fillers were not scrubs either.

I've been seeing a lot less high end gear in matches and that does affect it. For those of us that remember the last few days before the reset in beta the payouts were glorious because everyone was using up all their good gear and ISK. You could easily earn a million ISK in one match.
