...with some experienced tank pilot.
I would like to know what's your favorite Madrugar fitting and why.
At the moment, I'm loving the dual-reppers and the dual-hardeners more than anything else. Is there a fitting that you would call "the best" or "the most versatile"?
I would love a reply from Bob, Charlotte, etc, but I will greatly appreciate answers from any competent tanker.
Thank you.

It's just as before 1.7 . There's only a couple of standard fits without much variety.
2 reps gets you good dps mitigation but not good burst dmg mitigation (missile tanks will get you). You can stay on the field though because of constant dmg mitigation, dodging out of constant dmg as reppers repair. Otherwise, use a hardener or plates in third.
2 hardeners gets you better burst dmg mitigation but you have to patrol around out of danger as your hardeners cooldown. You still need a repper as third slot.
Then use your injector to speed tank out of combat.
Do your part. Join the revolution. Sabotage FW. Help this game burn!

I switched over from the madrugar to the gunnlogi a while ago. The madrugar has very low cpu, and since your protection primarily uses low slots you really don't want to occupy one with a cpu-module to offset the low basevalue.
The Gunnlogi handles better too (they say that the madrugar is supposed to have higher top speed, but remember that a tank is supposed to be an all-terrain vehicle, so top speed isn't more important than high acceleration and manouevrability)
Also, running dual hardeners is really only useful for getting you the time to run away in your tank if you run into trouble, but I noticed that you really need one extender to be able to take on other tanks in a straight up fight, which also goes against the madrugar because armor plates reduces an already low turning speed and acceleration, while shield extenders don't affect movement at all.
I find it hard to help out with madrugar fits honestly :/ |

Fit a rail and do not engage my gunnlogi unless I am fighting another tank. It will drastically improve your survivability.
There was a time we fought good tankers. Now we just fight good tanks.

Pretty sure Bob and Charlotte are both Gunloggi pilots now.
So about those vehicle locks...

Be prepared to compromise when fitting a madrugar and you'll be surprised what you can get out of the hull. |

Here's the thing, there are alot of fun fits but all the fun ones will get beat out. If you don't use two hardeners you will lose to most rails and double hardener vehicles (assuming the enemy is using the tank properly). Most fits are good enough to handle av because av is really weak.
My favorite fit is using double damage mod blasters with a complex hardner, complex cpu, and a enhanced rep with a advanced blaster. You can pump out about 200 damage per shot when you want to its pretty satisfying. (need to have some optimization in damage mods)
But like i said its impossible to beat double hardeners with anything but matching double hardeners or rails.
I also like using two enhanced reps with a large plate. With the large plate you can avoid being alpha'd (quick large amounts of damage). You can tank alot of av because your repping power is godly and i recall you can fit a nitro if you play with it. But you still will lose out to some hardened blasters and rails/Goodforges. B. Another variant of the repping tank is simply replacing the plate with a hardener. Its very versatile and fun to have the repping power.
I recommend trying to fit a nitro on any tank fitting because ambushing a tank is a must when dealing with dual hardeners and rails.

Edit For the double hardener fits: two complex hardeners a enhanced rep and a proto blaster Or two complex hardeners a enhanced rep an advanced blaster with a nitro.
Thats all folks. Bob runs a 3 damage mod rail shield tank. It will blow up even double hardened tanks easily. Bob isnt really a blaster tanker this build. So that's all that scrub Bob uses? He's lucky I was lagging bad yesterday and couldn't use a tank.
Infantry cries for tank changes, and they don't like them. Tell them to use vehicles, they complain, and use cars anyway

What's his fit, besides the damage mods?
Plate + Hardener? That's what I run on my Gunnlogi.
