a phone. They said pit it in a bowl of rice. It will absorb all the moisture. You might have to open it up later and unhook the battery for 45 seconds. Careful some ds3s have alot of parts around the trigger keys.

we used to do this as kids, well kind of. You go in a store and try on a pair if shoes then walk out. Thief.

Same shop that sold me FF XIII with no disc in it and insisted it had been in the box when it hadn't. They obviously just bagged up the case I'd brought from the shelf and didn't put the disc in. I was -ú30 down and with them refusing to check CCTV to prove otherwise I had to find another way about getting my moneys worth....
Funnily enough, a friend of mine had a summer job there not long after and got FF XIII for free because they had just the loose disc which they apparently couldn't sell...... |

put the internals inside a bag of rice for 12 hours
it may not work if you have send current through it and damaged a component somewhere but if the components are undamaged it will magically work again |

Don't put in rice I hear.
Blow the water out with your mouth, and let it dry for a good 3 days. Don't use a hair dryer.
Sorry to hear man. Good luck!

Edit : Rice also works, but good luck picking sticky half absorbed rice out of your controller. Don't listen to this! You don't want to put it near anything hot, because some of the soldering might melt. Take the battery out and put the at in a container with a lot of rice, then either let the rest of the device dry out over an airvent (not one that is too hot though) or you can put it in with the battery if you don't mind having to get the rice out later.

Well i'm very happy to say that my controller is now working again, after disconnecting the battery and letting it dry out for a bit, seems to of done the trick. I'm back playing my favourite game again :)
Warning! DS3 and dog bowls of water dont mix well. Lesson learned. |

You seriously think you can melt electronic solder with a domestic radiator? |
