Basically a nade that turns red equip in blue equip.
It should work like a flux, you throw it and a bubble of nanites will reprogram the equipments.

The effective radius would have to be between 0.25 m and 0.5 m IMO to not be OP.

No, it would still be OP. Carry that and nanohive? Instahack enemy tank while RDV drops it off.

 Horrible, horrible.

CCP has already said they are going to introduce deployed eq hacking.
It would work like regular hacking.

Why nanites?! Why does everything you people suggest have to be powered by goddamn nanites?!

What ever happened to good ol' electronic interference, huh?! What ever happened to normal stuff?!

Nanites make everything in the future. Vehicles, Dropsuits, Weapons, etc., all of them formed from Nanites. That far in the future, as to preserve resources, we just have a single machine do all the work, instead of a LINE of machines making all of our equipment.

Not to mention that Nanites are incredibly versatile. Being able to be reprogramed to do anything that the user wants to do, it makes for some of the best stuff. It's not uncommon for a Nanite Cluster to hack/reprogram any piece of equipment, as long as the cluster is big enough for the job.

However, it does get boring. There are, OP, signals that can be sent out to confuse technology. Maybe it does that? It sends out a signal, confuses the alignment of whatever you threw it at, does the hack.
