For a race known partly for their shield tanking(speed being main) it doesnt do much shield worthy,They get the least amount of rechrage rates compared to even armor tanking suits of it's the same frame size which doesnt make sense and then you look at caldari mid frames and they get everything shield related (buff and passive tank alike) ,I can agree with calidari being buffer tank proficient but at least make minmatar mid frames passive profeinet to use those hit n run tactics i keep hearing their good at.

I agree us Min shield tank as are main defense and we don't have many lows to armor stack anyway would appreciate the same charge rate as caldari or perhaps just a bit under. Give the gallente and amarr the 18 recharge rate, they use armor mostly anyway.

Contrary to popular belief, the Minmatar aren't big speed tankers, they're just better at it, relatively, than the other factions. They mostly shield tank, with a dash of armor tanking mixed in. Case in point, the Minmatar are the only faction to have vessels designed for either shield or armor tanking, whereas the Gallente and Amarr never focus on shield tanking (certain Gallente ships can shield tank effectively, but that's mostly so they can maximize damage), and the Caldari never focus on armor tanking.
Of course, CCP Shanghai refuses to adhere to those standards which have worked for years, but still...
What's the difference between an immobile Minmatar ship and a pile of garbage?

Minmatarr Suits are Dual Tank like the Amarr but more on Shield while Amarr is more on Armor.
So no Minmatarr are not Sp+¬ Shield like the Caldari.
But all minmatarr suits should get some better "Passive Scan"
Minmatarr is not "Speed tanking" or shield tanking but "Electronic Warfare Expert"
So better scan better hack etcetc but are not supposed to have a main focus in battle. |
